Deputy Ryan Devost was honored at the annual Jasper/Newton County Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (M.A.D.D.) banquet held in Joplin on Thursday April 25, 2013.  Deputy Devost was honored for his efforts in removing drunk drivers from the roadways.  Devost was honored as one of the top DWI arresting officers in the area.  This is the second year in a row that Devost has been honored.

Devost works as a patrol officer for the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and has recently taught in the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training academy instructing academy students in DWI detection and Field Sobriety Testing.
