The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is releasing the name of the victim in a homicide case that is currently being investigated.

Able Ibarra a hispanic male age 45 of Purdy Missouri

Ibarra's body was found off a Lawrence County Farm Road several hours after a call of shots fired was received at a location just a few miles away.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of the body as a homicide and is continuing to follow up on leads.  The cause of death should be determined by an autopsy scheduled at a later time.
