Deputy Jordan Page has now taken over the active role as the Sheriff's Office K-9 handler.  Previously Deputy Chad Garoutte was partnered with Magnum until Deputy Garoutte transferred into the detective division.  Because of different assignments and duties, it was not practical to have Magnum assigned to the detective division.

Deputy Page was then assigned to take over the K-9 duties.  He and Magnum have been training extensivly and are both now certified in narcotic detection and tracking as well as several other services.  Magnum is now back into full service and riding along on patrol details.
