Deputies Make Arrests with Meth Lab, Recover Stolen Vehicle

METH LAB BUST
January 15, 2013 - Lawrence County Sheriff Deputies serving a felony arrest warrant also finds a meth lab, drugs/drug paraphernalia, and a stolen vehicle from Springfield MO.
Early Tuesday morning Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies went to 2574 Lawrence 1247, Ash Grove MO to serve a felony arrest warrant. During their investigation and arrest of the targeted subject, Deputies observed drug paraphernalia, a clear liquid in glassware, several containers of chemicals, and a hot plate in the house. Two search warrants were obtained and served later that day. Discovered in the search warrants were a meth lab (one-pot method), precursor chemicals, glassware, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen vehicle from Springfield, MO. The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in this investigation.
41 year old Scott M Maslar, 38 year old David A Vert, and 52 year old Vernon Swearengin Jr have been arrested. Each are charged with; Distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce or attempt to or possess with intent to distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance.
Investigation continues into others that may be involved.
