Holiday weekend nets two meth labs, drugs and stolen property

On Friday afternoon, 12-30-2011, Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies discovered a meth lab in the area of Highway 97 and Lawrence 2030. This is the second meth lab discovered in that area in the past two weeks. Investigation continues on the person(s) involved with these two meth labs.

    Early Saturday morning, 12-31-2011, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded on a tip of possible drug activity at Lawrence. During their investigation a meth lab, methamphetamine, synthetic cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property were discovered. Five adults and one juvenile were found at the house. One person was arrested on several outstanding warrants and two other subjects were taken into custody on the drug violations. Investigation continues.
